WEDDING------Ruth Jimson---Leslie Purvis
married at New Lisbon
A pretty wedding took place on November 21,
1917, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Jimson,
when their daughter, Ruth was united in marriage
to Leslie J. Purvis of Mauston, Wisconsin.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. George
H. Marshall of New Lisbon. A brother of the
groom, Norman Purvis, acted as best man and
Miss Elsie Jimson was maid of Honor.
The bride was becoming gowned in navy blue
taffeta, the groom wore conventional blue.
The guests attending were Mr. and Mrs. T.
M. Purvis, of Mauston; Mrs. S. Parsneau and
children, of Tomah, Anton Svoboda, of Mauston;
L. H. Cattle of New Lisbon, Albert Jimson
of Kilbourn, and Miss Elsie Jimson of Nekoosa.
A host of friends and relatives join with
the STAR in wishing the young couple a long
and happy married life.
