Minnesota, with his regiment to quell the
Indian massacres there. He participated in

Sherman to the sea.
At the close of the war he returned home
to Summit, and on February 18, 1865, he was
united in marriage to Charlotte Randall,
who died October 18, 1875. A year later,
(1876) he was united in marriage to Mary
Jane Randall. His marriage with his first
wife was blessed with five (5) children who
are living, and his marriage to his second
wife was blessed with 4 children, two of
whom live. (at this time, 1918).
Since the time of the Civil War Mr. Judd
had been a farmer until 1893 when he moved
to Mauston, where he resided until his death.
He leaves to mourn his loss: his wife, Mary Jane, one sister, Mrs. Mary Martin of Reedsburg; seven children:--Adelbert Judd of Summit, Mrs. Ellen Roach of Reedsburg, Mrs. Ethella Oliver of Reedsburg, Ernest Judd of Seven Mile Creek, Mrs. Alice E.
